Team Charter:

The NIO Body Software Development Team is responsible for developing software on vehicle body across NIO’s mass-produced fleet of Luxury, Intelligent, Autonomous Vehicles.

Collaborating closely with all internal and external teams, organizations and agencies around the globe, the NIO Body Software Development Team ‘s mission is to develop new function software while innovating next-generation vehicles and make it happen on mass-produced vehicles.

About the Role:

NIO is seeking a Sr. Staff headlamp ECU system/software Engineer for its Europe Company. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will lead to conduct and support, NIO’s lamp related software development across NIO’s fleet of vehicles worldwide.

In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams across NIO. You will advise all internal stakeholders and leadership to help ensure compliance with all applicable automotive industry safety standards, regulations, guidelines, best practices, and due-care requirements.

Responsibilities:
o Conduct development of vehicle ADB system and AFS system of headlamp.
o Ensure development of software and system with regulatory requirements, guidelines, and best practices
o Develop ADB AFS software algorithm.
o Support ADB AFS software SIL test case and method.
o Support ADB AFS software HIL test case and method.
o Support ADB AFS software calibration case and method.
o Support ADB AFS software HOMO test according to ECE & SAE related regulation.
o Support to develop ADB vehicle architecture.
o Proof of new product concept development and feasibility analysis.
o Benchmark the latest technical trend of exterior light and interior light.
o Lead creation and review the design of system/ software.
o Support Fusa design of lighting software and system.
o Support FMEA design of lighting software and system.
o Align with lamp EM/ DRE/ Tier 1, to define the document findings, recommend improvements. Discuss with related teams to ensure improvement and compliance
o Liaise with and provide status updates to leadership

职位要求

o Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Systems, Structural, and others), or related technical field
o 5-10 years of Headlamp ECU System engineering experience in automotive lighting, preferably at OEM, Tier 1 supplier
o ADB(GFHB) knowledge and experience
o Demonstrated evidence of 10K~30K Pixels Micro LED (Osram or LumiLED or Nicha) development experience in system/ software.
o Demonstrated evidence of DLP projector development experience in system/ software.
o In-depth knowledge and expert level expertise and experience on ECE R48 and ECE R123 (R149)
o Systems engineering fundamentals, especially how it relates to hardware, software, system and sub-system level design and engineering
o Hands on experiences applying headlamp ECU or headlamp master ECU development and engineering
o Strong written and oral communication skills, especially the ability to communicate complex engineering issues to a diverse global team
o Mandarin language skills (speaking and writing) are a plus
